Its going to be Arsenal and Barcelona in Paris on May 17th, playing for the biggest prize in club soccer. It will feature the two best players in the world, Henry and Ronaldinho, and is certain to be an exciting game.
I'm biased because I love Arsenal, but after "mad" Jens came up with the huge save on Riquelme late in the 2nd leg of the semifinals, I think this truly is destiny. When the ref gave Villareal the spot kick after what seemed an obvious dive, I was sure it was all over, another Europe shocker for the Arsenal, but after the big save, this has gotta be our year. This win definitely made up for the disaster that was Wayne Bridge's goal a few years ago.
So a final in Paris, but when I think of Arsenal, in a European game, in Paris, against a Spanish team, it constantly brings me back to the nightmare that was Nayim. Will this be the year to exorcise that ghost?
